Scandi Terminal operates a fleet of container trucks transporting large amounts of overseas containers between Stenungsund and Port of Gothenburg. We also operate special vehicles for shunting of pallets from the local industry to our warehouses.
The company has gradually changed from being a haulier towards taking the role as the central hub in the customers door-to-door transporting services.
Material handling
Bag slitting
We have a fully automatic bag slitting machine which daily converts material from bag to customer bulk transport or directly to liner container. This gives us greater flexibility in delivery time windows etc. The conversion takes place in a confined space and using only electric equipment regarding machinery or robot we minimize the risk of contamination.
Emptying big bag & octabin
We have the means to handle and emptying big bag and octabin using rotary valve or using gravitational processes for silo trucks, liner container or other forms of packaging.
Converting
We can convert 20' and 30' containers into other containers or silo trucks using stationary tipping equipment. All equipment use electricity to meet up with our environmental policy.
